About Event

⛰️ A little about Ghanchakkar:

Ghanchakkar 1,532 metres is the Second highest peak in the Maharashtra State under Sahyadri mountain ranges in western India. Its neighbouring peak Muda 1,520 metres is the fourth highest peak in the Maharashtra State under Sahyadris.

 

⛰️ A little about Bhairavgad (Shirpunje):

1145 mtrs. This fort is believe to be ancient and almost 2500 years old. This fort has only few ruins and remains on the top. There are two big caves on the top in which one cave is a shrine of Lord Bhairavnath and another cave is used for residence purpose. There are many water tanks on the top. The idol in the cave is very good carved painted and is well maintained by the villagers.

09.00 Pm Reporting at pick up point Nigadi and move towards Chinchwad, Kalewadi Phata, Bremen Chowk, Aundh,  Pune University chowk (time and location need to select in the registration form)

05:00 am Reach base villages

05:30 am Freshen up and Have Breakfast & Introduction.

06:00 am Start Ascending.

07:00 am Reach on top and Explore fort /Peak

11:00 am Start Descending.

03:00 pm Reach Base Villages and have Lunch.

02.00 pm Leave for Pune.

10:00 pm Reach Pune.

Advisory 

1. Smoking and drinking alcohol are strictly prohibited.
2. Trek leader's decision will be final and binding.
3. If you have any medical conditions, you need to inform us.
4. Avoid expensive ornaments and not be responsible.
5. Toilets available

6. Changing room available at base village

7. Trekking & related activities are adventure games. If you are injured or have an accident during this period, you are responsible for yourself. Organizers will not be responsible for this.

8. In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.

Cancellation Policy:

Below are the terms & conditions that apply if the event will be cancelled by the participants’ side after the payment is made.

Cancellation before event 5 Days, the refund amount  90% of the event cost and 10% admin, processing charges will be deducted.

Cancellation before event 3 Days, the refund amount  50% of the event cost and 10% admin, processing charges will be deducted.

Cancellation before event 2 Days, the no refunding

The event can be postponed or cancelled due to the below reasons :

Bad weather, unsafe climatic conditions, breakdown of the mode of transportation, equipment breakages or any other or extraordinary circumstances out of our control.

In such cases, the paid amount will be applicable for the next batch of the same event.

If the Event is cancelled by GTRIBE EXPERIENCES LLP Management, the 100% amount will be refunded to paid participants within a week.

Q: What qualifications do your staff have?

Our staff are certified & experience mountaineers. We have trained in first aid, CPR.  

Q: What is the trekker to staff ratio?

We maintain a low trekker to staff ratio to ensure close supervision and individual attention for each child. Generally it is 12-15 :1

Q: What facilities do you provide on trek?

We issue a adventure insurance, well maintained transport, advance communication and first aid.

Q: What all safety gears do you provide?

For Rappelling we give branded equipments;
